One of the most interesting games of round 24 was a derby match between two teams from Russia. Second rankedUNICS outleveled host Samara (1-21) 93-73 . UNICS forced 20 Samara turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The winners were led by American center Jalen Reynolds (208-1992, college: Xavier) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import center Marcus Bingham Jr (213-2000, college: Michigan St.) supported him with 21 points and 8 rebounds. UNICS's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by guard Nikita Mikhailovskii (201-2000) did not help to save the game for Samara . Center Evgeny Minchenko (213-1994) added 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. UNICS (20-2) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with CSKA. Samara lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games.
